A Sacrifice for Dagon

This is my latest painting. It is inspired by the Cthulhu myth of HP Lovecraft as well as a little homage to the golden age of fantasy illustration and of course inspired by representatives like Frazetta or Vallejo and some others. It is based on a pencil sketch from one of my sketchbooks (last picture).

in my Sketchbook:

Medusa

A new little painting of Medusa. She is old and powerful and will get you stoned!

Flora & Fauna

This very high-rise painting is used as starter of the chapter 'Flora & Fauna' in the book 'Das Dornenreich'. The upper area is used for the title. The book is a regional guide for the pen and paper game 'The Dark Eye' ("Das Schwarze Auge") by Ulisses Spiele.

The Kadi

He's kind of a judge. It's the last character I've made for the regional guide "Das Dornenreich" for "The Dark Eye" RPG (Das Schwarze Auge) by Ulisses Spiele.

I'm also giving you a little insight into my process here.

Beer Pixy - "Broxkel"

A commission for "The Dark Eye" (Das Schwarze Auge) Pen & Paper game by Ulisses Spiele.

He's a little pixy who likes to nestle in brew kettles. His beard consists of beer foam and he is well over 1000 years old.

Mongolian Eagle Hunter

A quick contribution to the Character Design Challenge on FB. This month's topic is "Mongolian Eagle Hunter". Unfortunately I noticed it too late. So I left the PC aside and I drew a quick picture with ballpoint pen yesterday morning.

Pen & Paper Characters - Inktober2018

Like in the last years I didn't manage to participate properly in the October. After all I could make some ink drawings in my sketchbook during some longer train journeys.

The drawings show characters of our DSA (The Dark Eye) pen and paper group as well as some NPCs.
